Hemp to your mother.
Natural ideas, real impact.
Hemp to the World is a mission-driven, two-man movement dedicated to restoring hemp to its rightful place in modern life. We believe every community deserves homes that are constructed of natural materials, affordable, and built to last centuries. Applying building practices of old and new to create healthy homes. Hemp offers us that path.
-
Our work centers on hemp-lime construction: casting strong, healthy, highly efficient structures at prices that challenge conventional building systems. We exist to prove that sustainable housing shouldn’t be a luxury, and that natural materials can outperform the industries that have polluted our air, water, and homes for generations.
-
We stand for farmers gaining new markets, builders gaining safer and smarter materials, and families gaining homes that support well-being. This is a global effort to replace toxic systems with regenerative ones, and to show that hemp is more than a crop—it’s a foundation for a cleaner future. Whether you are a contractor looking to step into hemp lime or a diy’er looking to circumvent the system we can help. We are an open source company.
-
Hemp-lime construction is the foundation of our work, but hemp itself is the heart of our mission. We believe this plant has the power to reshape how we build, live, and steward our resources. Beyond construction, we are committed to education, collaboration, events, and the promotion of hemp-based goods that support healthier homes, local economies, and a more regenerative future. Our work exists to advance hemp not just as a material, but as a movement.
Hemp Facts
Hemp is the powerhouse Cannabis sativa plant God gave us for total self-reliance—a game-changer crushed by corporate greed but clawing back. Its fibers built history: ropes and sails for ships, wagon covers, and paper like the Declaration of Independence, dominating 80% of fabrics until the 1800s. Jack Herer in *The Emperor Wears No Clothes* hits hard: "From more than 1,000 years before the time of Christ until 1883 A.D., cannabis hemp... was our planet’s largest agricultural crop and most important industry, involving thousands of products and enterprises; producing the overall majority of Earth’s fiber, fabric, lighting oil, paper, incense and medicines."
Seeds deliver unbeatable nutrition—a 3:1 omega-3 to omega-6 ratio helps fight inflammation, with complete proteins that no plant rivals, making them perfect for fueling the body against modern ills. Hurds craft eco-buildings tougher than concrete, sequestering CO2, requiring no chemicals, and yielding 10 tons of biomass per acre in four months—10 times the biomass of trees—while improving soil and revitalizing farms.
CBD targets your endocannabinoid system to crush pain, halt seizures, and sharpen focus, a 3,500-year-old remedy buried by Big Pharma. The 1937 Marihuana Tax Act? A scam by DuPont, Hearst, and oil barons to shove nylon and wood pulp, shielding war profiteers. Herer exposes: "The standard fiber of world history, America's traditional crop, hemp, could provide our textiles and paper and be the premier source for cellulose. The war industries—DuPont, Allied Chemical, Monsanto, etc.—are protected from competition by the marijuana laws. They make war on the natural cycle and the common farmer." And lighting: "Until about 1800, hempseed oil was the most consumed lighting oil in America and the world."
Hemp's revival is divine payback—the ultimate renewable to kill fossil fuels, end deforestation, heal climate wounds, and power us with 6% of U.S. land. Here seals it: "Hemp is, by far, Earth’s premier, renewable natural resource. This is why hemp is so very important." It's God's tough-love blueprint: grow it, use it, fight for it—or watch the world burn. Embrace the gift.
